With the 50th anniversary of Beatlemania in full swing, it's no wonder there continues to be news about the world's greatest ever rock band. Not only has it been announced that the Beatles will be honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the forthcoming 56th Grammy Awards at Staples Center in L.A. on Jan. 26, 2014, but Apple Corps. is set to issue the Fab Four's complete American-only album titles as a 13-disc box set, The U.S. Albums, a week earlier (Jan. 21, 2014).

My earliest music memories are of playing my parents' vinyl copy of Meet the Beatles over and over again. That seminal 1964 release kicks off the collection which extends to 1970's Hey Jude. It also includes beloved titles such as Yesterday and Today and Something New.
