Daryl Hall adds more dates to first solo tour in a decade
Legendary singer-songwriter to tour with special guest Todd Rundgren
SECOND LEG LAUNCHES MAY 12; TICKETS ON SALE STARTING MARCH 18 AT 10AM LOCAL TIME AT LIVENATION.COM.
FIRST-EVER DARYL HALL SOLO RETROSPECTIVE BEFOREAFTER OUT APRIL 1 VIA LEGACY RECORDINGS |
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Daryl Hall, has announced the expansion of his first solo tour in a decade. The second leg of the tour will follow previously announced dates playing historic venues such as NYC’s Carnegie Hall and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, plus the April 1 release of BeforeAfter (Legacy Recordings), Hall’s first-ever solo retrospective. As with the tour’s first leg, Todd Rundgren will be a special guest on all newly announced dates. Tickets for the second leg of the tour go on sale starting Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. local time at livenation.com.
Compiled and sequenced by Hall, BeforeAfter features thirty tracks spanning all five of his solo albums, from 1980’s Robert Fripp-produced Sacred Songs through 2011’s Laughing Down Crying, co-produced with longtime Hall compatriot T-Bone Wolk, who sadly passed before the album was released. Additionally, the collection features six never-released performances from the pathbreaking web and television series Live From Daryl’s House, which Hall launched in 2007 with the then-novel idea of “playing with my friends and putting it up on the internet.” One of those performances includes the recently shared recording of the Eurythmics classic “Here Comes The Rain Again,” performed with that song’s co-writer Dave Stewart. Other guests on the Live From Daryl’s House tracks include Rundgren, Monte Montgomery and more. Taken as a whole, BeforeAfter draws unexpected and satisfying connections between the esoteric and accessible sides of Daryl Hall’s creativity.

As previously announced, Pearl Jam’s 2020 European Tour dates are rescheduled for June and July of 2022. See pearljam.com for full tour routing and any updates.
In continuing their ongoing commitment to acknowledge and address the band’s carbon footprint, Pearl Jam will be paying $200 per ton for carbon dioxide mitigation from the Gigaton tour, a ten-fold increase from prior years. This pricing allows the band to pursue a multi-layered strategy of offsets and investments that combined, will allow for a more comprehensive mitigation plan.
Stone Gossard explains, “We are proud of our prior efforts to mitigate our inevitable carbon footprint from touring over the past 20 years but the time to multiply that effort is clearly right now. By committing to this aggressive pricing, we hope to equally amplify our efforts and gather partners who share our urgency to make the investments and innovations required to move our world to a more conscious, carbon balanced economy.” Learn more about the band's history with carbon mitigation.

"This Is The Show started as one thing, wound up another," says Josh on the album. "In my mind, it was gonna be about something specific, kinda turned out that way, and kinda…actually most certainly turned out to be something completely different. Something far greater than I could’ve ever imagined. It was made with a lot of love and a lot of care over another unsure and uneasy year."
Pluralone will be performing a livestream show on March 19 at 6pm PT/9pm ET which fans can register for here. Tickets can be bundled with a digital download of This Is The Show for an additional $5 charge. Fans can also buy tickets for an "after party” performance - a stripped down/acoustic set of covers and originals by request. The album preorder link is here.
