COLLABORATION WITH MARSHMELLO ‘HERE WITH ME’ OVER 100 MILLION STREAMS
(New York, NY – April 23, 2019) CHVRCHES announce new North American headline tour dates including a return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall, plus shows in Kansas City, Toronto and New Haven. The announcement comes hot on the heels of CHVRCHES' biggest Coachella performances to date, which included a surprise appearance from Marshmello (Weekend 1) for their hit collaboration “Here With Me”, as well as their biggest headline US show to date at San Francisco’s Greek Theatre. The full list of dates are below and tickets go on general sale this Friday.
CHVRCHES are Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty. Their collaboration with Marshmello is the band’s highest charting single to date with over 100 million streams worldwide. “Here With Me” is currently #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the multi-format hit song is already Top 15 at Top 40, entering the Top 25 at Hot AC, and Top 30 at Alternative. Check out the band’s performance with Marshmello on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Their acclaimed third album Love Is Dead entered the Billboard Top Rock and Alternative charts at #1 and #11 overall. The album followed their 2013 debut The Bones of What You Believe and the 2015 follow up Every Open Eye. With the soaring success of their first two albums propelling CHVRCHES into new worlds, Love Is Dead is at times euphoric and others bittersweet. Featuring the singles “Miracle” and “Get Out,” as well as the previously released “My Enemy” (feat. The National’s Matt Berninger) and “Never Say Die”, Love Is Dead is an album about growing up and “coming to terms with the fact that there are great things in the world and there are awful things in the world and that you can’t get one without the other,” says Mayberry.
Over the course of their career, CHVRCHES have played countless shows worldwide, with each tour’s production reaching new heights and leaping towards the top of festival bills. This new run of US dates are the next chapter in this phenomenal live success story. See below for dates and www.chvrch.es for tickets.
