Lots of news and notes to share this morning...

Can't wait on this! The Cure plans to release a new album this year!

USA Today has an interesting (and timely) article titled "How The Beatles brought Fab fashion to our closets" that is pretty interesting. Click here to read the article.

Film director Cameron Crowe writes about working with actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who played Lester Bangs in the 2000 film Almost Famous.

George A. Paul has posted details about the upcoming new season of Live from the Artists Den on his Music Minded blog. Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and Sheryl Crow are slated to appear.

Speaking of George's blog, read his overview of the reissue of Sir Elton John's seminal 1973 album Goodbye Yellowbrick Road album set for release in March.

Finally, Foreigner, Styx and Don Felder are embarking on a "Soundtrack of Summer" tour together. Read the Billboard article that was posted this morning here.
