EARMUSIC / EAGLE ROCK ENTERTAINMENT TO RELEASE SPECIAL EDITION OF

MARILLION'S SOUNDS THAT CAN’T BE MADE

~2CD AND DIGITAL AUDIO FEBRUARY 11, 2014~

On February 11, 2014, Eagle Rock Entertainment /earMusic will release the Special Edition 2-CD of Marillion’s Sounds That Can’t Be Made album in North America. [MSRP $15.98 for CD].

Originally released in 2012, Sounds That Can’t Be Made was Marillion’s 17th album. It hit the Top 40 charts in the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Norway, and France, and followed the success of 2009’s Less Is More and the Live From Cadogan Hall album. This special edition boasts not only the original eight tracks, but a bonus second disc with radio sessions of “Wrapped Up In Time,” “Power,” and “Pour My Love,” a demo arrangement of “Lucky Man,” and live versions of “Sounds That Can’t Be Made” and “Invisible Ink.” The 2CD also includes enhanced artwork.

Considered one of Britain’s most original and innovative bands, Marillion has carved a niche as purveyors of soulful, powerful, and deeply moving songs, with a long-standing reputation of blistering live shows. Lead singer Steve Hogarth, guitarist Steve Rothery, keyboardistMark Kelly, bassist Pete Trewavas and drummer Ian Mosley have enjoyed a rich, musical history, with 16 studio albums, over 20 UK Top 40 hits, and an impressive and faithful global fanbase.

Looked upon as leaders of the neo-progressive movement of the early ‘80s, and hailed by England’s Classic Rock magazine as “a national treasure,” Marillion has consistently dodged categorization. Genesis and Radiohead may come up in their “audio cocktail,” but ask each musician about the world of sound they’ve created and you’re likely to get five different answers. THAT is what sets Marillion apart.

In 2014, Marillion has assumed the status of a classic rock band – not just by their fans, but by their increased recognition in the music business and media at large. They were recently declared “Band Of The Year” at the second annual Prog Rock Awards.

NEEDTOBREATHE ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM
RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND
SET FOR AN APRIL 15TH RELEASE

PASTE MAGAZINE PREMIERES LEAD SINGLE "THE HEART"
& CATCHES UP WITH THE BAND

NEEDTOBREATHE is proud to announce the release of their upcoming album Rivers In The Wasteland. Set for an April 15th release on Atlantic RecordsRivers In The Wastelandis the follow up to their acclaimed album The Reckoning, which saw the band spend over two years on the road in support of a collection of anthemic rock that caught the attention of The New York Times, NPR, Entertainment Weekly and USA Today.

Paste Magazine caught up with the band to talk about the new album. Fans can also get a first listen to the record's lead single "The Heart," a stomping number imbued with an infectious sense of hopeful anticipation. The band's relentless touring saw them captivate music fans at festivals such as Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits, along with standout performances on Letterman, Fallon, Leno and Conan. However, this extensive touring is where the musicians began grappling with both significant inner turmoil and the external pressure created by notoriety. For all 3 musicians, they had to take a well-deserved break and meditate on what each wanted NEEDTOBREATHE to be. After some time, the guys all agreed that the answer was to return to the band's roots and find the anchor of musical simplicity.

Rivers In The Wasteland - the sound of a band excited to reconnect with the idea of a fresh start - was co-produced by the band with the help of various producers including Joe Chiccarelli, Kevin Augunas, Ed Cash and Jerrod Bettis, and was recorded at the band's own Plantation Studios in Charleston, Fairfax Recordings (formally Sound City Studios) in Los Angeles and Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

"We've come through some rough moments and some amazing moments," says guitarist & vocalist Bo Rinehart. "We're the most energized we've ever been. The band is young again. We've got a new sense of purpose and we believe in what we're doing. We just fell back in love with the idea of what we get to do."

Rivers In The Wasteland is now available for pre-order and comes with two instant gratis tracks - "The Heart" and "Difference Maker." Visit smarturl.it/ntbwasteland to purchase.

Stay tuned for news on the band's 2014 headlining tour!

NEEDTOBREATHE is Bear Rinehart (vocals, guitar), Bo Rinehart (guitar, vocals) and Seth Bolt (bass, vocals).

Earlier last month, SCYTHIA released their new music video for ‘Bear Claw Tavern’ via Guitar World. The video has gone viral with more than 50,000 views in less than a week’s time. If that isn’t impressive enough, io9 called it “20 Times Better Than ‘The Hobbit’. Watch the video now, viewable via the band’s official YouTube page: http://youtu.be/pHytTKn9w70.

Also last month, the band shared a brand new track via Metal Injection entitled ‘Into The Storm’. Listen here! The track features a blistering guitar solo by Teemu Mäntysaari of Finnish melodic power metal band Wintersun. The track was recorded by Lasse Lammert, mixed by Nino Laurenne, mastered by Svante Forsback.

Formed in 2008, SCYTHIA’s music is recognized throughout their home country for its rich, poetic storytelling and epic melodies. Because of this, and touring like a cavalry of nomads, they have taken the independent scene by storm as they gather more and more fans both domestically and internationally. They were nominated for the Best Metal Group/Duo for Canada’s Sirius XM Indies - Independent Music Awards, amongst other reputable Canadian metal bands. Other nominees included Bison B.C, Derelict, Devin Townsend Project and Mares Of Thrace.

SCYTHIA delivered their first album Of War in 2010 where the band's distinctive sound was forged, which carried on to their next release Of Exile. While recording their third release, For The Bear, their sole purpose was to bring great melodic metal to the table, which in response has received nothing but a sensational response in the media and radio. Most of all they did not forget their fans, new and remnant from their earlier years. For The Bear was released last year as an EP.

Tour dates are currently being booked and a full tour announcement will be coming in early 2014.

SCYTHIA is:
Dave Khan - guitars, main vocals
Terry Savage - bass, harsh vocals
Jeff Black - keyboards, back-up vocals
Celine Derval - Drums, back-up vocals
