Sights and sounds: Beck, John Doe, Boston, Paul Rodgers

Here is a roundup of news and notes I didn't get to earlier in the week…

George A. Paul has a good post on Beck, who has added a slew of shows positioned around his two performances set for Coachellafest next month. Read his post on Music Minded here.

John Doe fans should check out Paul's recent post of Music Minded here.

As its new single "Heaven On Earth" from the 2013 disc Life, Love & Hope hits number 1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock Chart, Boston is set to kick off its North American tour in June. Visit the band's official site here for more details.

Paul Rodgers will be headline at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach "Rock-N-Roar" concert in Long Beach on April 12, 2014. The concert, which will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. on the Convention Center stage facing Ocean Blvd., is free to all Saturday race ticket holders.
