Max Weinberg returning to Orange County on Sept. 30

THE MAX WEINBERG 7+ featuring BILL CHAMPLIN (formerly of CHICAGO) are set to perform in Mission Viejo on Friday evening, Sept. 30

Max Weinberg, legendary long time drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and amazing Tonight Show Band leader teams with Grammy Award winning vocalist, songwriter and Hammond B3 player extraordinaire Bill Champlin, to create an evening of pop, funk, Jazz and great rock and roll. Bill Champlin is best known for his 28 years as the keyboardist/ vocalist/ songwriting mainstay of the legendary group Chicago ("Hard Habit to Break" "Look Away") as well as the founder and leader of the seminal 1960’s San Francisco area “rock band with horns” Sons of Champlin. Both artists will be featured performing select songs from their illustrious careers.

Earlier this summer, Weinberg and Champlin performed in Newport Beach before an enthusiastic crowd, and for all of those who missed that concert (including yours truly), this marks a perfect chance to catch the acclaimed artists together again.
