Check out the 2017 NAMM Show report from TJR, who caught a special event where country music icon-actor Dwight Yoakam introduced his new DD28 Signature Edition Martin guitar, which is inspired by his 1972 D-28 (the guitar associated with his entire career). Dwight did a bit of performing on the new guitar as well:
