Is Coachella Weekend 1 really only two days away? Even Here is the latest Coachellafest-related roundup of news...

YouTube to Livestream Weekend 1 Performances

Greta Van Fleet will be performing several times on
Friday, April 13 in connection with Coachella.
Even if you can't get to Indio this weekend, there are several key ways to capture the spirit and performances of the event.

Firstly, the fabled YouTube live stream is back in action. All you have to do is tune into Coachella's YouTube channel to choose from four different feeds featuring a wide range of artists pulled from the lineup.

You can also create your own schedule from the lineup page on Coachella.com as well as from the mobile app. Simply click on an artist from the channel schedule and the live stream will automatically switch to that channel!

The videos section of the Coachella YouTube channel will also feature interviews, specials and other highlights.

In the past, I've checked out many of the YouTube content on weekend 1 to help prepare me for my on-site on weekend 2. This year I was not invited to cover the event so YouTube will be my primary way to stay tuned into the action. As of today (April 11, 2018), there are 85 artists who have confirmed that their sets will be shared this weekend! Among key performances I hope to see are from hard-hitting blues rockers Greta Van Fleet, Swedish Americana folk duo First Aid Kit and indie rockers The War on Drugs
