Nada Surf announces tour celebrating the 15th Anniversary of 'Let Go'

Nada Surf are excited to announce the first dates of their tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of their seminal album Let Go. The record was initially released by EMI/Labels in Europe and Heavenly Records in the UK in September 2002, and was then released by Barsuk in the US in February 2003. Billed as 'An Evening with Nada Surf', the band will perform Let Go in its entirety, and after a short break they'll return to play a second set. There will be no support on these shows.

Let Go tour dates:
03.07.2018 - Black Cat - Washington, DC
03.08.2018 - Brooklyn Steel - Brooklyn, NY
03.09.2018 - World Cafe Live - Philadelphia, PA
03.10.2018 - Brighton Music Hall - Boston, MA
03.11.2018 - Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto, ON
03.13.2018 - Metro - Chicago, IL
03.14.2018 - Fine Line Music Cafe - Minneapolis, MN
Let Go, which features Nada Surf classics such as "Inside of Love," "Blonde on Blonde," "Hi Speed Soul" and "The Way You Wear Your Head" was heralded by the music press (except for Pitchfork, which gave the album a 3.8/10), and is recognized for rejuvenating the band's career after an awkward parting with their initial label, Elektra Records.
Praise for Let Go:
One of the 50 best albums of 2002 - MOJO
"12 literate songs of consumptive love lives in imbalance, full of big melodies and enough wonder at the world to turn frowns upside down every time." - MOJO
"Virtually every song on Let Go hits its mark in one way or another, dispensing consistently remarkable moments that range from the sweet minor-key swoon of "Blizzard Of '77" and "Neither Heaven Nor Space" to the sleek, bouncy new wave of "Hi-Speed Soul." Examining relationships, fruit-fly swarms, and Cheap Trick lyrics with equally keen understanding, all while dispensing a disarming array of subtly endearing hooks, Nada Surf completes the evolution into a smart pop marvel before most listeners knew it had begun." - AV Club
"A dozen near-perfect pop songs, each one teeming with joyful desperation." - Entertainment Weekly (A-)

Multi-Platinum Irish band The Coronas announce more North American Shows for 2018 as upcoming tour in support of #1 Irish Chart Album 'Trust The Wire' begins on November 4, 2017 in Toronto

The Coronas played to their largest headline audience ever--15,000 people--at Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin, Ireland on July 1, 2017.

The Coronas haven't even begun their long-awaited November North American tour, yet new shows have already been added to the multi-platinum-selling Irish band's itinerary for 2018. While they are getting ready to launch their upcoming tour with two sold out shows in Toronto, November 4 and 5, plans have been announced to bring them back to Toronto on February 9, 2018 for a show at The Mod Club. This time around they will also add Montreal and Vancouver to the schedule with four select shows in the U.S. between the Canadian dates.

The band just completed tours of Europe and the UK, all in support of their fifth album, Trust The Wire, which became The Coronas' first-ever #1 album when it topped the Irish music charts in its first week of release in June. In the U.S., the single "Real Feel" is being played on more than 50 AAA and Alternative radio stations throughout the country while the high energy video for it has surpassed 140,000 views on YouTube.

Following the November shows, The Coronas will play four shows in Australia before ending the year back in Ireland for a series of home turf shows. In addition to their return to North America, 2018 already has a return to Australia and a special show in Dubai on the schedule. The band also plans to do some new recording early in the year.

TRUST THE WIRE, the band's first release on their own label imprint called So Far So Good Records, is distributed in the U.S. and Canada through ADA Distribution. Replete with the band's trademark soaring vocals, driving guitar rhythms and pointed, yet sometimes poignant lyrics, TRUST THE WIRE finds the Coronas' four band members exploring age-old relatable themes of disappointment and disillusionment, sometimes at the hands of interpersonal relationships and sometimes via the fickle business they've chosen for a career. In its review of the new album, roots website rambles.net wrote: "The Coronas do not ape the familiar; instead they find inspiration in it and use it to form a strong base on which to build their own sound." The Sunday Times in Ireland wrote that "they've brought their towering tunes into the present and staked their claim to be a cleverer Coldplay."

The Coronas have previously released four studio albums: HEROES OR GHOSTS (2007), TONY WAS AN EX-CON (2009), CLOSER TO YOU (2011) and THE LONG WAY (2014), the first three via the independent Irish label 3รบ Records and the fourth one on Island Records. All four are double-platinum albums in Ireland.

"Give Me A Minute," the new single in Ireland from TRUST THE WIRE, has just been released along with a new video which can be viewed here:
