Chasing Yesterday is the first album to be produced as well as written by Noel and features a much broader array of instrumentation than ever before; the result is a rich, expansive and multi-layered record, drawing from a range of disparate influences.
Earlier this year, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds announced their return to North America with tour dates kicking off on May 3rd in Toronto and continuing through to their June 7th date at the Governor's Ball Festival in New York City. The band recently played a small gig for fans in London that had the NME weighing in with an 8 out 10, and both the Times and the Daily Telegraph giving the show 4 star reviews with the latter enthusing "Gallagher sang with soft yearning, played guitar with juicy chords and melodic leads, and chatted with ready wit."
