NEW ALBUM, STORIES DON'T END, RELEASED VIA HUB RECORDS NEXT TUESDAY, APRIL 9

"Rising L.A. Crew cuts gorgeous throwback tunes that hide a not-so-peaceful, not-so-easy feeling." - Rolling Stone Magazine (4 out of 5 stars)

"Your new favorite band." - American Songwriter Magazine

"With a straight-ahead sound and vivid songwriting, the Los Angeles-based group has racked up acclaim and a strong following." - The Wall Street Journal

LA rock quartet Dawes are pleased to present the full stream of their third album Stories Don't End exclusively on Amazon.com. The Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Kings of Leon, Norah Jones)-produced Stories Don't End, an album Rolling Stone Magazine recently declared a "quietly gripping, deceptively gleaming record" in their four-star review, is the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed sophomore album, Nothing Is Wrong, and will be available for purchase in stores and through all digital retailers starting next Tuesday, April 9. Check out an in-studio clip from the Stories Don't End sessions HERE where the band discusses their recording process.

Dawes are currently on the road touring independent record stores across America performing songs off Stories Don't End. Immediately following the current tour, Dawes will then support the legendaryBob Dylan on a number of dates beginning this Friday, April 5 at Alumni Arena in Buffalo, NY. Following the Bob Dylan tour, which ends on May 5in St. Augustine, FL, the band will then make a number of North American festival and 20+ headline appearances throughout June and July. Support on the upcoming summer tour will be provided by Shovels & Rope.

In addition to the full album stream and upcoming tour, Dawes has launchedFromAWindowSeat.net, an interactive photo Web site that allows the band's fans and friends across the globe to connect and share in each other's lives by posting photos from a window seat and using the hashtag #fromawindowseat. Follow Dawes on Twitter (@dawestheband), on Instagram(@dawestheband), or visit http://fromawindowseat.net to view these photos and to see the band's rotating set of favorite shots. The concept for the Web site is taken from the name of the band's first single off Stories Don't End, "From A Window Seat," which will be performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, May 16.

While the city of Los Angeles has been both an inspiration and a home to the four members of Dawes - Taylor Goldsmith (lead vocals, guitar), Wylie Gelber (bass), Tay Strathairn (keyboard), Griffin Goldsmith (drums, vocals) - they found themselves traveling East last fall to record their third album in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The tracks they laid down at Asheville's Echo Mountain Studio have yielded a 12-song disc of tremendous sonic and narrative clarity, book-ended in classic album fashion by two very different versions of the wistful "Just Beneath The Surface" - a misleading title, really, since the songs stacked in between dig so deep. Stories Don't End is not so much a departure from the quartet's previous efforts as a distillation of them. It spotlights the group's maturing skills as arrangers, performers and interpreters who shape the raw material supplied by chief songwriter and lead vocalist Taylor Goldsmith into an artfully concise and increasingly soulful sound.

Dawes will be making the following appearances from April through July. Tour dates below.
