Bad Company deluxe editions 'Run With The Pack' and 'Burnin' Sky' available May 26, 2017

BAD COMPANY: DELUXE EDITIONS Double-Disc Versions Of Run With The Pack and Burnin' Sky Feature The Original Album  Remastered And Expanded With Rare And Unreleased Recordings Available From Rhino On May 26, 2017

Bad Company recorded four classic albums in as many years, giving rise to some of the most recognizable rock songs of the Seventies, including "Rock Steady," "Run With The Pack" and the Grammy-nominated, "Feel Like Makin' Love." After releasing remastered and expanded versions of their first two albums in 2015, the band will return this spring with deluxe editions of their next two albums from that incredible run. Run With The Pack (1976) and Burnin' Sky (1977) have been newly remastered from the original production tapes. Each has been expanded with rare and unreleased recordings taken from the original album sessions. The CD versions of these Deluxe Editions include all of the new bonus tracks, while their 180-gram vinyl counterparts offer a selection of the bonus material. The Deluxe Editions of RUN WITH THE PACK and BURNIN' SKY will be available on May 26 for $19.98 (2CD) and $39.98 (2LP). The music will also be released digitally and available through various streaming outlets. During a rare break from touring, Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, Simon Kirke and Boz Burrell got together in France to record new songs using the Rolling Stones' mobile recording studio. Those sessions produced Run With The Pack,a 10-song album that came out in early 1976 and rose to #4 in England and #5 in America, where it sold three million copies alone. Radio stations embraced the title track along with a cover of The Coasters' "Young Blood," while "Silver, Blue & Gold" became one of the band's signature tracks, even though it was never officially released as a single. The bonus disc that accompanies RUN WITH THE PACK: DELUXE EDITION includes unreleased early mixes for "Honey Child" and "Simple Man," as well as an extended version of the title track. There's also the previously unreleased "Let There Be Love," an outtake from the recording sessions. In fact, the acoustic version of "Do Right By Your Woman," previously only available as the B-Side of the single release of "Run With The Pack," is the only song on the bonus disc that has ever been previously released. During the summer of 1976, the band returned to France yet again to record 12 songs for what would becomeBurnin' Sky. They chose Château d'Hérouville as the studio, which is where David Bowie would record Low later that same year. Burnin' Sky was released in March 1977, and broke into the Top 20 in both the U.K. and U.S. The BURNIN' SKY: DELUXE EDITION bonus disc features unreleased versions of nearly every song on the album, including alternative takes and mixes of "Man Needs A Woman" and "Morning Sun," plus the full version of "Too Bad." BAD COMPANY: LIVE 1977 & 1979 Double-CD Set is the first-ever official Live Album to feature the Band's Original Line Up and includes two Previously Unreleased Concerts Available from Rhino on April 29, 2016 'One Hell Of A Night' Co-Headlining North American Tour Kicks Off on May 12, 2016

LOS ANGELES - Despite its reputation as one of the most exciting live bands to ever rock an arena in the Seventies, Bad Company never released a live album during its meteoric rise to the top of the charts. That will soon change when Rhino introduces the first-ever official live album to spotlight the original Bad Company line up: Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, Simon Kirke and Boz Burrell. LIVE IN CONCERT 1977 & 1979 will be available on April 29 as a double-CD set for a suggested retail price of $19.98. The collection includes more than two-and-half hours of unreleased music taken from 24-track tapes in the band's vault. The music heard on this live collection features absolutely no enhancements or overdubs, nothing but the band as they performed live on the night of the concert. Vinyl fans take note: the concerts will also be released individually as double-LP sets later this year. LIVE IN CONCERT 1977 & 1979 includes two previously unreleased concerts - with one additional track taken from the group's June 26, 1979 show in Washington, DC. The first disc captures the band's show at the Summit House in Houston, Texas, which took place on May 23, 1977. It was recorded during Bad Company's tour supporting its fourth studio album Burning Sky. After opening with the title track from the album, the band went on to play selections from all its previous albums: Run with the Pack (1976), Straight Shooter (1975) and Bad Company (1974). Among the crowd-pleasing highlights are strong performances of "Shooting Star," "Ready For Love," "Good Lovin' Gone Bad" and "Feel Like Makin' Love." The next disc fast-forwards two years to the band's March 9, 1979 show in London, which was recorded during the band's tour for its multi-platinum album, Desolation Angels. Several songs from that album were performed during the show, including "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy," "Gone, Gone, Gone" and "She Brings Me Love." The group also performed several songs from earlier albums that weren't part of the 1977 concert, like "Run With the Pack," "Rock Steady" and "Can't Get Enough." LIVE IN CONCERT 1977 & 1979 also includes the band's stellar cover of "Hey Joe," which was recorded on March 9, 1979 at the Capitol Center in Washington, DC.

Making their debut appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 11, The Neil Cowley Trio are virtuoso musicians. Cowley is a consummate live performer with a distinctively English wit and the ability to create a marvelous rapport with his audience, as ably demonstrated on Live At Montreux 2012. The show focuses primarily on their latest album The Face Of Mount Molehill (recorded & later toured with a string ensemble), with a scattering of tracks from their previous releases.

Neil Cowley is a much in demand pianist who cut his teeth on albums by the likes of Brand New Heavies and Zero 7, and more recently played piano on both of Adele’s global bestselling albums 19 and 21, making him quite literally, the most listened to pianist on the planet!

Defined by powerful riffs countered by poignant, delicate passages and witty, whimsical romps, Cowley’s jazz-meets-rock ethic has earned his trio worldwide acclaim, and plaudits from across the musical spectrum. Their debut album Displaced won the 2007 BBC Jazz Award for Best Album and the trio undertook their first UK tour in the same year, going on to perform extensively around the globe, appearing at some of the worlds most prestigious jazz festivals alongside a string of triumphant shows in the US in 2012. Heralded as “strong stirring stuff” by Time Out New York, their most recent recording, The Face of Mount Molehill earned the trio Best UK Jazz Act at the inaugural Jazz Fm Awards.

BAD COMPANY RELEASES FULL SUMMER 2013 ROUTING THAT KICKS OFF

40th Anniversary Celebration Includes 13 Co-Headline Dates with Lynyrd Skynyrd



Bad Company has announced the complete itinerary for the band's Summer tour of the U.S. Celebrating their 40th anniversary since forming, the excursion begins on June 15 in Rancho Mirage, CA and will stage 22 dates, ending on August 3 in Orilla, Ontario. The band appeared in June, 2012 at the Sweden Rock Festival, which followed a tour of the Japan and North America in 2010 that staged 21 appearances. Prior, Bad Company toured the U.K. for an eight-date run, which concluded at Wembley in London, followed by ten shows in the U.S. in 2009. In front of the tour, Paul Rodgers shares, "When Mick and I formed the band we were amazed at the instant success. It didn't hurt to have Led Zeppelin behind us, and we wrote some decent songs that still resonate. This one is for the fans."

Bad Company were dubbed a super-group upon the band's formation due to the union of Free's Paul Rodgers (Vocals / Multi-Instrumentalist) with Mott The Hoople's Mick Ralphs (Guitar) plus Free's Simon Kirke (Drums) and King Crimson's Boz Burrell (Bass), who passed away in 2006. Over the next nine years, the band released a string of six albums that sold tens of millions of copies, yielding international hits "Can't Get Enough," "Bad Company," "Feel Like Makin' Love," and many others penned by the main songwriters Paul Rodgers and Mick Ralphs. Original members Rodgers, Ralphs, and Kirke will be joined by guitarist Howard Leese and bassist Todd Ronning (from Paul Rodgers solo band).

Bad Company has inspired many of today's musicians. Most notably, Metal band Five Finger Death Punch who scored a #1 Active Rock hit with a cover of the song "Bad Company". Since 2001, the band has only played 11 isolated performances, and has not staged a tour of The United States and Canada until now.

On 13 of the dates, Bad Company will co-headline with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Paul Rodgers recently shared, "The Skynyrds and I go back to the 70's and the days and nights at the Hyatt House on Sunset in LA aka the Riot House. In the 90's the band introduced me to my wife Cynthia, and that's why I am so damned happy and healthy these years." Lynyrd Skynyrd's Johnny Van Zant offered, "Every member of Skynyrd has been fans of Bad Company from the get go. Personally, Paul is one of my favorite rock singers. We have a deep appreciation for Bad Company’s music and look forward to being on the road with them and sharing the stage.”

Dailey & Vincent Get Back To Their Roots on 'Brothers Of The Highway';

Award-Winning Bluegrass Band’s New Set To Bow On Rounder May 7


Acclaimed bluegrass group Dailey & Vincent will release their sixth studio album, Brothers Of The Highway, on May 7, 2013. The eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Grammy-nominated The Gospel Side of Dailey & Vincent features a pair of original Jamie Dailey compositions as well as ten stirring and evocative new interpretations of songs made famous by the likes of Vince Gill, the Louvin Brothers, Kathy Mattea, Bill Monroe, Cody Shuler & Pine Mountain Railroad, George Strait, and Porter Wagoner.


While choosing material for this album, the duo, comprised of Jamie Dailey (voice and guitar) and Darrin Vincent (voice and bass), found inspiration in the words of their friend and mentor Ricky Skaggs, who advised them “You can’t know where you’re going unless you know where you’ve been.”

“I am extremely passionate about this album. It is a reflection of my heart, my soul, and my love for great music,” said Dailey. “When it was time to record this album, Darrin and I knew exactly what we wanted it to be. We both agreed that it was time to record a straight-ahead Bluegrass record consisting of a blend of original songs and songs from the past that we absolutely love. We know where we came from, and we know where we want to go. We feel this record is in step with our musical dreams, and we are excited for people to hear it!"

"Brothers Of The Highway" has been a labor of love for us,” adds Vincent. “We wanted to make an album about the joys of a simple way of life and tell stories through descriptive lyrics about friends, family, and love. Since they burst onto the scene in 2007, Dailey & Vincent have amassed an impressive array of honors including three consecutive IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Awards for Entertainer of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year, respectively; two Grammy nominations, and the 2011 Dove Award for Bluegrass Album of the Year. The band, dubbed the “rock stars of bluegrass” by CMT.com, has also become a perennial favorite on the touring and festival circuit: they play over 115 shows per year to sold out crowds in the United States and have developed a strong international following.

Dailey & Vincent’s peerless lineup includes the outstanding mandolin playing and lead and harmony vocals of Jeff Parker, the remarkable talents of banjo player Jessie Baker, fiddler B.J. Cherryholmes, and bass singer extraordinaire Christian Davis, as well as the unmatched vocals of Jamie and Darrin themselves.
