The Beatles' full January 1969 rooftop concert at their Apple Corps headquarters in London will get a special limited theatrical release in IMAX on Jan. 30, 2022. The 60-minute feature will premiere 53 years to the day after the Fab Four staged their final public performance.

In the wake of the acclaimed three-part documentary "Get Back" from Peter Jackson that premiered in November via Disney+, this comes as an added bonus to Beatles fans.

Following the showing of the concert film, Jackson will participate in a special Question & Answer session, which will be broadcast via satellite to all the participating IMAX movie theaters.

"I'm thrilled that the rooftop concert from 'The Beatles: Get Back' is going to be experienced in IMAX, on that huge screen," Jackson said in a statement. "It's The Beatles' last concert, and it's the absolute perfect way to see and hear it."

In related good news, "Get Back" will be released on Blu-ray and DVD in the U.S. on Feb. 8, 2022.
