Ringo Starr has announced details for a North American tour with his current All Starr Band featuring Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, and Hamish Stuart. The tour will begin at Casino Rama in Rama Ontario, where Starr has performed many times, and launched several previous tours (2001, 2003, 2006 and 2014). It will include a mini residency at New York’s Beacon Theater and three tour dates with multi-Grammy Award nominated Americana legends The Avett Brothers - at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor Maine, at Boston’s Boch Center Wang Theatre and at the Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. Former All Starr Edgar Winter will be the support act for two shows in Florida, St. Augustine and Clearwater.

This announcement comes on the heels of the release of Ringo’s 20th studio record, What’s My NameThe title track is a rousing anthem written by a returning All Starr Band member, Colin Hay, that turns a familiar chant from Ringo’s live shows into a rousing rocker sure to be a future crowd-pleaser.

The record is the latest in a series of heartfelt and homespun records that Starr has produced in his home studio and a distinguished, ever-changing yet often repeating cast of musical characters and friends playing along with Ringo. Those friends include Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter, Dave StewartBenmont Tench, Steve Lukather, Nathan East, Colin Hay, Richard Page, Warren Ham, Windy Wagner, Kari Kimmel and more.

Ringo also just released Another Day In The Life, the third in his series of books with Genesis Publications, that follows the sell-out success of Postcards From The Boys (2003) and Photograph (2013), and features previously unpublished collection of his photographs, captioned with his own thoughts and anecdotes.

Reflecting his love of music, travel and nature, Another Day In The Life shows us the world as seen through Ringo's eyes. From Los Angeles to Tokyo and everywhere in between, many of Ringo's observational images celebrate the quirkiness of life. Other photographs are taken behind the scenes during historic events, such as Ringo's acceptance of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and his return to New York's Plaza Hotel, 50 years after The Beatles first visited the USA. Joined by Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh and a host of All Starr friends, in Another Day In The Life Ringo Starr shares personal moments from a legendary life in music, and offers a unique and inspiring look at the world around us. And this past Saturday, November 2, 2019 Mayor John Mirisch of Beverly Hills welcomed Sir Ringo Starr and Lady Starkey, joined by family and friends,  at the dedication of Starr’s “Peace & Love” sculpture - which will now permanently reside at the Beverly Hills Garden Park on Santa Monica and Canon. Standing eight feet tall and weighing nearly 1,500 pounds, the polished stainless steel sculpture replicates the hand gesture Ringo adopted in 1969. “Peace & Love” is a message that has become synonymous with Ringo’s name, and he has dedicated his birthday, July 7, towards spreading that message - last year celebrating “Peace & Love” events in nearly 30 countries around the world. Ringo hopes that this gift will be a lasting way to carry the message of Peace & Love forward in a place he has called home for many years.

Mick Jagger Solo Album Catalog Comes To 180-Gram, half-speed remastered Vinyl

She's The Boss (1985), Primitive Cool (1987), Wandering Spirit (1993) and Goddess In The Doorway (2001) due December 6

The complete solo album catalog of one of the most iconic figures in British rock is coming to vinyl. Mick Jagger's four studio records in his own name, issued between 1985 and 2001, will be released as heavyweight 180-gram black vinyl editions on December 6.

The albums are She's The Boss (1985), Primitive Cool (1987), Wandering Spirit (1993) and Goddess In The Doorway (2001).

The quartet of albums amply demonstrate the creative reach of the Rolling Stones frontman as an artist in his own right. Jagger's solo work shows the broad artistic palette that has influenced countless subsequent rock frontmen. To borrow one of their titles, they're a timely reminder of what a wandering creative spirit he continues to be.

The albums have been newly remastered from analogue tape transfers* via the revolutionary Half-Speed Mastering system, by celebrated engineer Miles Showell at London's Abbey Road Studios. This high audio definition remastering treatment, which creates the finest audio quality vinyl pressings available, was recently used for all the albums in the acclaimed boxed set The Rolling Stones Studio Albums Vinyl Collection 1971 – 2016. The Jagger albums all feature printed inner bags with lyrics.

Jagger released various projects in his own name earlier in his unparalleled career, but after his cameo on the Jacksons' 1984 single “State Of Shock,” it was 1985's She's The Boss that officially opened his solo album account. Recorded at Compass Point in the Bahamas, it was produced by Mick with Bill Laswell and Nile Rodgers and i
ncludes the single “Just Another Night,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart and No. 12 on the Hot 100. Other guests included Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend and Herbie Hancock. Jagger performed songs from the album that year at Live Aid.

Primitive Cool, made in the Netherlands and Barbados, followed in 1987, this time co-produced by the artist with Keith Diamond and David A. Stewart. It featured the flagship single “Let's Work” and “Party Doll,” later covered by Americana original Mary Chapin Carpenter. Mick subsequently toured the album in Japan and Australia.

1993's Wandering Spirit showcased the potent production pairing of Jagger and Rick Rubin and had Jagger at his incomparably energetic best on songs like the swaggering “Wired All Night.” It also saw him exploring and expanding his country, soul and funk roots, including the hit single “Sweet Thing” and a cover of Bill Withers' “Use Me,” featuring vocals by Lenny Kravitz. Other guests included Flea, Courtney Pine, Benmont Tench and Billy Preston. The album was certified gold in the U.S.

Jagger's most recent solo album, 2001's Goddess In The Doorway, was produced by Jagger with Marti Frederiksen and longtime collaborator Matt Clifford. There were production cameos by Chris Potter, Wyclef Jean, Jerry Duplessis and Lenny Kravitz, the latter on the rock hit “God Gave Me Everything.” Bono and Pete Townshend both appeared on “Joy,” and the album also included the single “Visions Of Paradise,” co-written with Matchbox Twenty's Rob Thomas.
