Before performing for a sell-out crowd of 17,000 people at LA’s legendary Hollywood Bowl on Friday (night one of his sold-out two night stand), Morrissey accepted a plaque commemorating November 10, 2017 as “Morrissey Day” in Los Angeles.

With a plaque presentation by Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, the Mancunian singer cemented his place in Los Angeles musical lore.

The fourth city on his tour in support of new album ‘Low in High School’ (out November 17 on Etienne Records/BMG), Morrissey’s tour takes him through Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on December 7.

The Orange County Register has posted an in-depth story about the ceremony you can read here.

Morrissey will perform again tonight (Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017) at the Hollywood Bowl for those lucky enough to have scored tickets!
