Chuck Berry's "Darlin'" Video Is a Nostalgic Father's Day Tribute

Last night on my long drive to the Coach House to see Jackie Greene, I popped in my copy of Chuck Berry's new album CHUCK. Wow, that is a great album!  Earlier this week I got to see Charles Berry Jr., Chuck Berry's grandson Charles Berry III, along with singer-guitarist Nathaniel Rateliff and The Roots join forces to perform the rocking track "Big Boys" on Jimmy Fallon. Today comes more news about the disc, and how to see a new video for one of the disc's many wonderful songs...

'CHUCK' Out Now on Dualtone Records

Less than one week after the release of 'CHUCK,' the first album in 38 years from founding rock and roll legend Chuck Berry, comes the second-ever Chuck Berry music video for "Darlin'." The song is a gentle, euphonic duet between Berry and his daughter, Ingrid, furthering the familial essence of a record that also features three generations of Berry guitarists (Chuck, Charles Berry Jr., and Charles Berry III). The video illustrates that lifelong father-daughter relationship through never-before-seen Berry family footage, home movies and photos.

'CHUCK' has earned raves from The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, NPR Music, USA Today and many more. This past Monday, Nathaniel Rateliff, Charles Berry Jr., Charles Berry III, and The Roots joined forces on Fallon to remember the legend.
