RHETT MILLER SET TO RELEASE THE DREAMER JUNE 5

FEATURES ROSANNE CASH, RACHAEL YAMAGATA, JERRY MAROTTA

FIRST TRACK, "OUT OF LOVE," AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD NOW HERE

NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

Rhett Miller has announced the release of his new album, The Dreamer, on June 5. The Dreamer was produced by Miller himself and will be released on his very own Maximum Sunshine Records, distributed by The Orchard. The album features guest appearances by singers Rosanne Cash and Rachael Yamagata, as well as additional percussion by Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel). The band on the record is Miller's touring group, the Serial Lady Killers. This is the second release on his label, the first being 2011's The Interpreter - Live at Largo. The first single from the record, "Out of Love," is now available for download HERE.

The Dreamer is Miller's sixth solo record and represents the first time he has ever self-produced. In the past, Miller's solo efforts were dramatically different from his work with Old 97's. While the band's songs are often steeped in Americana and country, the solo records have always been decidedly more rock and pop affairs. Until now, as The Dreamer finds the Texas-bred, New York-based singer/songwriter marrying his two worlds like never before.

Says Miller, "I produced The Dreamer myself, a first for me, and had a very clear vision of what it should be -- an intimate, rootsy record that would bridge the gap between my work with the Old 97's and the solo albums I've made in the past. The Dreamer is all about simple American songs and instrumentation. It was a blast to make."

Rhett Miller will appear at SXSW this week, followed by a North American tour featuring both solo acoustic shows and shows with his band, Rhett Miller & The Serial Lady Killers.

THE HIVES MAKE TRIUMPHANT RETURN WITH LEX HIVES, JUNE 5, 2012

NEW SINGLE “GO RIGHT AHEAD” PREMIERES AT ROLLINGSTONE.COM TODAY

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/exclusive-stream-the-hives-return-with-go-right-ahead-20120312

RETURN TO THE LIVE STAGE AT THE COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL, TO RELEASE LIMITED EDITION “GO RIGHT AHEAD” 7 INCH SINGLE FOR RECORD STORE DAY ON APRIL 21 AND SET TO APPEAR ON JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE (ABC) ON APRIL 23, 2012

Hello dear, dear person. Do you think that the “Rock Band Of The Year” should be a band that actually plays rock music? By all means read on. The world’s wisest musical council and international rock sensation, The Hives are back! On June 5, Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist, Nicholaus Arson, Chris Dangerous, Dr. Matt Destruction and Vigilante Carlstroem will return with their fifth stunner -- the 12-track contemplation of all law that is Hives -- Lex Hives. The term “Lex Hives” is a phrase derived from the ancient Roman practice of enacting a system or body of laws and accepting them as a standard. Thus, the 12 songs on Lex Hives makes up the holy laws after which all life from now on must be lived. Chiseled into the melted wax cake 33 1/3 long-player, Lex Hives will be released on The Hives’ own label Disques Hives. Self-produced, self-played, self-released, and self-promoted, these 12 songs are not built to fit just anyone. These are not songs that sound equally good played on an acoustic guitar by the campfire. This is not music. This is compressed carbon hidden in the earth’s crust for millions of years and unearthed, to be placed in your eardrums. Blistering proof can be found with the lead single, “Go Right Ahead” streaming NOW at RollingStone.com. Lex Hives was produced by The Hives and mixed by Grammy Award winner Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele), with two additional tracks mixed by D. Sardy (Marilyn Manson, Slayer) and Joe Zook (Weezer, Modest Mouse). The deluxe version of Lex Hives will feature bonus tracks produced by Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.

After the 400 gigs and 25 nights in hospitals that followed the 2007 mindblower The Black and White Album, The Hives are once again set to return to the world stages – beginning with an appearance at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Weekend One: April 13th-15th / Weekend Two: April 20th-22nd). On Monday, April 23rd the band will make their return live appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live outdoor stage (ABC 12am/11pm Central). In celebration of the world’s new favourite holiday, Record Store Day, the band will release the limited edition 7 inch single for “Go Right Ahead” that features the unreleased track “1000 Answers” on Saturday, April 21st.

Louder. Bolder. Prouder. More convinced than ever. The Hives are finally out of the dark ages and steering toward the light. This is THE LAW. The Law that is Hives. LEX HIVES! The laws of nature are pale in comparison and The Hives demand nothing but complete obedience.

RASCAL FLATTS WILL TAKE A LITTLE PIECE OF THEIR FANS ON THE ROAD AS CMT AND TAYLOR GUITARS LAUNCH A CONTEST TO CREATE THE OFFICIAL TOUR GUITAR

It's not every day fans get to become part of one of the hottest tickets in country music. This summer, one person will have the opportunity to do just that as CMT and Taylor Guitars have launched a contest to design the official guitar for the Farmers Insurance Presents "The American Band Tour." In addition to the guitar being played by band members' onstage in cities across America, the winner will get a VIP experience to see the band live and receive his/her own autographed, custom-designed Taylor Guitar GS8 model. Fans will have additional opportunities to win Rascal Flatts' autographed GS Mini guitars at select concert dates, on CMT RADIO LIVE WITH CODY ALAN and on CMT.com, provided by Taylor Guitars. In total, CMT and Taylor Guitars will give away 15 guitars throughout the summer-long promotion.

Fans can submit guitar designs using approved images and logos now through Monday, April 30. More information is available at www.rascalflatts.cmt.com.

In just eleven years, Big Machine Label Group's Rascal Flatts has become one of the most honored acts in country music history, reaching heights and achieving milestones reserved for the genre's elite. They have set more venue attendance records than any country act with ticket sales of six million and counting. They have sold 21 million albums, 25 million digital downloads and earned 13 #1 singles. With the #1 debut on the Country Albums sales chart of Nothing Like This, Rascal Flatts becomes one of only four country acts to debut seven consecutive studio albums at #1. On April 3, they will release their highly-anticipated eighth studio album, Changed. Its first single "Banjo" is #13 on Billboard's Country Songs chart, and among the most-streamed videos at CMT.com.

ALLEN STONE PERFORMS ON “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!” ON MARCH 13

Headline Tour Includes Two Sold-Out Shows At
Los Angeles’ Troubadour On March 24 & 25

Stone Tapped For “Live From Daryl’s House” Webisode And Tour

Allen Stone will perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday, March 13. Hailed as a "pitch-perfect powerhouse" by USA Today, Stone will wrap up his current headlining tour with two sold-out shows at the legendary Troubadour (March 24, 25). In the months since the 24-year-old Washington state native last played Los Angeles – selling out shows at Hotel Café and The Echo – his self-titled sophomore album, released on Stone’s own entirely independent stickystones label, has brought him national attention and led to sold-out shows from coast to coast.

Reviewing Stone’s fall 2011 show at SOB’s, The New York Times’ Jon Pareles observed: “his music reached back four decades to the late 1960s and early ’70s, when songwriters like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway and Bill Withers brought introspection and social commentary to soul music.” Esquire, CNN and Billboard named Stone as an artist to watch and he appeared on MTV Buzzworthy’s list of the “Most Criminally Overlooked Artists Of 2011.” Stone made his national television debut on “Conan” in October, performing “Unaware,” a song the show’s booker had seen Allen perform in his mother’s living room via a YouTube clip.

Still without the support of a record label, Stone has tour dates booked into September – including two dates at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, his first-ever European tour, an April run on the “Live From Daryl’s House” tour with Daryl Hall and Sharon Jones and appearances at the Hangout and Sasquatch music festivals. He’ll join Dave Matthews Band on the final six shows of the group’s 2012 summer tour, including three nights at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA (August 8/31, 9/1 & 2) and stops in Chula Vista, Irvine and Mountain View, CA. See below for itinerary.

Stone’s six-song set with Daryl Hall and his band premiered on the award-winning web-series “Live From Daryl’s House” on February 15, 2012 and can be seen through March 15 at:

Released last October, Stone’s self-titled sophomore record shot up iTunes’ R&B/Soul charts, peaking at the #2 spot, and hit #29 and #62 on Billboard’s Heatseekers and R&B/Hip Hop Album charts respectively. It’s an album “meant for those of us who like our R&B slightly unkempt and exceedingly feelingful,” said NPR’s Ann Powers.” “Stone's music has grit...songs like first single ‘Unaware’ and ‘What I've Seen’ teem with political undertones,” said the Portland Mercury while the Las Vegas Review-Journal noted: “Stone's got a voice you won't forget, alternately warm and wounded, stirring and flecked with vulnerability like a spider-cracked windshield.”
