Coldplay sets upcoming concert to benefit GRAMMY Foundation

Coldplay will play a memorable one-night only concert at 8:00 PM
on Wednesday, August 3rd at the intimate UCLA Tennis Center.

Coldplay – comprising Guy Berryman (bass), Jonny Buckland (lead guitar), Will Champion (drums) and Chris Martin (vocals, guitar, keyboards) – has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and won numerous awards, including seven GRAMMY® Awards, six Brit Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Viva La Vida, the band’s fourth full-length studio album, was released in June 2008 and went on to chart at No. 1 in 36 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, and become the top-selling global album of 2008 according to IFPI. The net proceeds from the event will benefit the GRAMMY Foundation’s®-GRAMMY in the Schools® (www.grammyintheschools.com)music education programs for high school students.
